I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from UNC in 2003; I received my Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from UNC in December 2009. I come from a family of UNC alumni with my grandma, aunt, and sister all having earned degrees here. I began working in the Registrar’s Office in 2004, and I truly enjoy my job and the opportunities it gives me to interact with students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
My responsibilities include NCAA Athletic Eligibility, Tuition Classification, College Opportunity Fund (COF), and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). I also oversee the general student services area of the office and serve on a number of committees on campus working towards improving student services. I would love to assist you with any questions you may have. GO BEARS!

I am originally from Oklahoma City, OK. I am veteran of the United States Air Force, served in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), Operation Iraqi Freedom, and continue to serve as a member of the Colorado Air National Guard. I received my Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science from the Community College of the Air Force, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from Oklahoma State University, and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
My job allows me to use my life experience and be an advocate for members of the military and veterans. It is great to be at UNC! My responsibilities include VA Certification, Military Residency, and Veteran & Military Student Services. I am located in the Roudebush Cottage, next to Gray Hall. Greeley and UNC have been my home since 1997, when I started my Bachelor of Arts in English. Upon completion of my degree in 2002, I found my calling here in the Registrar’s Office, where the potential of higher education and the challenge of academia provide unending opportunities in pursuing excellence.
I specialize in undergraduate graduation, the degree evaluation tool, catalog production, and course repeats.
Pamela Balzer

I graduated from Aims Community College in 1998 with an Associate of Arts degree. Although I am not a current alumni of UNC, I hope to one day pursue a Bachelors degree here.
I began working for the Registrar’s Office during the summer of 2009. The most enjoyable part of my job is having the opportunity to work with our students on a daily basis. My previous work experience includes accounting, computer tech support, and many years of customer service.
My current duties consist of general student assistance, including verification letters, updating student records, registration, and issuing transcripts. Please contact me for assistance in any of these areas.

I have an Associate of Arts degree from Aims Community College and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UNC. I have served students at UNC since 2006 and joined the Registrar’s Office during Fall 2009. I have worked in customer service positions for 20 years, in retail, manufacturing, the automotive industry and most recently the insurance industry. I enjoy working with students and seeing the end results of their efforts.
I currently advise students applying for graduation to help ensure that all graduation requirements are met. I also assist with Commencement ceremonies, diploma distribution and all aspects of the graduation process. Please contact me with any questions regarding graduation.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Rehabilitative Services from UNC in 1993. After working in retail management for many years, I am excited to find myself back at UNC. I have been in the Registrar’s Office since August 2008 and enjoy working with students, staff, faculty and alumni.

My background includes project and production management in technical help centers for a large computer company. I also have a wide variety of experiences in event and logistical management for several local groups. I am working on my PMP certifications as well as pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
I began working in the Registrar’s Office as a Graduation Advisor in October 2009 and enjoy working with students who are nearing the end of their experience here at UNC and looking forward to a bright future because of the education that they have received here. After serving in the U.S. Navy, in communications, I worked in the real estate and high-tech industries. Prior to joining the UNC team, I was employed at Amgen, Inc (biotech/pharmaceuticals) for 15 years where I specialized in project management and administration in the Facilities, Engineering and Manufacturing Department.
